What we do for Schools   Support to young people Individual counselling and support is available to young people questioning, exploring or identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual and / or transgender who are 18 years and younger. Information and consultancy to administration, guidance officers, teachers, and school based youth health nurses. Open Doors welcome contact by school personnel to assist them to provide or enhance their support to young lgbt people and their families. We can provide information to school personnel such as administration, teachers, guidance officers and school based youth health nurses to support your work and role. Contact us, by phone or email, if you would like copies of our brochures or poster to keep within your school. In School Workshops or Educational Environments Open Doors is available to come to schools and work with school staff and students to improve awareness and responses within a school environment for lgbt young people. In-service training and workshops can be designed in collaboration with school community members. Open Doors LGBT Education Network Support and linking together school personnel within the Brisbane area who identify as lgbt or are concerned about issues of homophobia within schools.
