- Drop-In (12 to 17)
- Young and Proud (18 – 24)
- Jellybeans (transgender young people)
- Queeriosity Youth Festival
Support for families
We provide support to family members to assist them to support and have healthy relationships with their children. Where a parent or a young person requests, we will provide mediation between family members to assist communication and in the resolution of current conflicts.
Community education and training
Alongside the direct support and information provided to young people and families, Open Doors also aims to enhance or create networks of support for young LGBTIQ communities across South East Queensland through facilitated education programmes and out reach. Open Doors believes that in order to make a positive change for our young people we need to influence policy and processes at a government level. We are available to provide knowledge and feedback to government departments as well as other services providers who wish to make diversity a priority.
