Open Doors Youth Service runs weekly social groups for LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy young people—safe, welcoming spaces where you can connect, make friends, and just be you. Whether you’re keen to chill, chat, or get involved in creative activities, our social groups are all about community, support, and belonging. Come hang out—we’d love to meet you.

If you’re new to ODYS and would like to attend one of our social groups, just fill out our easy online referral form and our amazing intake workers will be in touch to get you started.
ODYS holds drop in for LGBTIQ+ SB young people aged from 12 – 24 years every Monday from 3.00pm – 5.00pm at Fortitude Valley or Logan. Come grab some food, a hot shower, raid our community closet, connect with other LGBTIQ+ SB young people and our incredible youth workers! No need to register or complete a referral form to attend.
Have you found it hard to access our in-person groups? Do you want to connect with LGBTIQ+SB young people like you? Do you live somewhere regional, or are unable to get out and about?
Come hang out with us every second Tuesday on Zoom. Play some games, chat about life and meet some new friends all from the comfort of your own space! No need to make a referral just register below.
